It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is upon us and it's time to spread some cheer. Next week, we will be celebrating the holidays for five whole days. So, get ready to dress up and show off your holiday spirit!
We are excited to announce that we will be holding a photo contest during the holiday celebration. Dress up in the theme of the day, snap a photo, and text it to Hanshaw’s yearbook team at 209-312-7838 to enter the contest. We will be awarding prizes each day, so be sure to bring your A-game!

Our First Friday celebration is happening this week in B101! Don't forget to show your school pride by wearing Burgundy, Black, or Grey! Also, if your birthday is in December, come to the birthday table in B101 for your birthday gift from leadership.
Hey, hey, hey! Ready for some winter magic? This Friday is the Winter Wonderland Dance, and it's going to be snow-tastic! Trust us; you won't want to miss it! Tickets are only $4, and you can grab them during lunchtime on Wednesday through Friday. Don't wait until the last minute and miss out!
Seventh grade students learned about physical and cemical changes this week in a really delicious way...they made pancakes!!
This week Titans were able to write and send free Gobble Grams to students and staff on campus and they expressed much that they were thankful for. Well over 300 grams were written and delivered! Happy Thanksgiving Titans!

Hanshaw hosted multiple parent meetings last week. It was great to see so many parents engaged in learning activities that help support our Hanshaw Titans!
Monday, October 16 - Golden Valley, Health and Wellness Parent meeting. The topic for the meeting was Fentanyl.
Thursday, October 19 - Sierra Vista & Center for Human Services, Parent Support meeting. Mindfulness was the topic. Parents participated in mindfulness meditation, completed a mindfulness questionnaire, and participated in a mindfulness activity.

Jueves 19 de octubre: Sierra Vista y Centro de Servicios Humanos, reunión de apoyo para padres. La atención plena fue el tema. Los padres participaron en meditación de atención plena, completaron un cuestionario de atención plena y participaron en una actividad de atención plena.
