Hanshaw teachers came back to work this week to spend time together learning, collaborating and teambuilding. They are looking forward to having students back on campus on TUESDAY, August 13th! It's going to be a GREAT school year!

Our Hanshaw Titans visited campus earlier this week for our Titan Round-Up. They were able to get their schedules, PE clothes, find their classrooms, meet with some of our amazing staff, as well as sign-up for several of our programs that support our students. We can't wait to see you on TUESDAY, August 13th for our FIRST day of school! The bell rings at 8:56am. See you soon!

Reminder to any 2024-25 Titan Athletes: Do not forget that 6/26/24 is the day to receive your FREE sports physical for this coming school year. If you think you may want to participate in ANY Hanshaw sport, please don't miss this opportunity. Refer to the time listed on the schedule below for Hanshaw's time slot.

Incoming 7th grade students who want to join us for Bridge to Hanshaw need to complete and submit this form by 6/30/2024. Summer Bridge Dates: July 29-August 2nd Summer Bridge is a GREAT way for our incoming 7th grade students to get a jump start on their 7th grade year at Hanshaw. They will meet teachers, work on team building, and learn foundational skills needed to be a successful Hanshaw Titan. See you there! If you are a Hanshaw athlete, or future Hanshaw athlete, please get your FREE sports physical at Davis High School during Hanshaw's designated time slot. Hanshaw students will ONLY be accepted between 1pm -2:30pm on Wednesday, June 26th. ALL athletes must have a sports physical completed for EACH school year. See you there Titans!

Hanshaw's future Titans (6th graders) visited our campus last week. They got to experience their very first Titan rally, including spirit competitions, tour the campus, experience our "lunchtime activities," and visited various informational booths, as well as our amazing snack bar. Welcome to Hanshaw Fairview, Rob Road, Shackelford & Bret Harte 6th graders!!! We will see you soon!

Spring Sports are finishing up at Hanshaw. We are extremely proud of our Titan athletes!!!

Hanshaw's April School Site Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 8am in the Hanshaw Library. We will be discussing ideas for our 2024-25 School Plan for Student Achievement.

Student theatre opportunity during the week of 4/1/24 - 4/6/24. Performances will be held Friday, 4/5 @ 6:30pm and 4/6 @ 1:00pm in the Hanshaw cafeteria.

Congratulations to our February Attendance Award winner!!!

Congratulations to Hanshaw Middle School's January attendance incentive winner, Reyna Cacho!!! Hanshaw challenged students to return to school on our scheduled return date of January 8th. Every day that week that a student was at school, they earned an entry into a raffle for a Nintendo Switch Lite. Congratulations again to Reyna Cacho!

Don't forget - Wednesday, January 24th is a Minimum Day for Teacher Collaboration! Hanshaw dismissal is at 1:48.
